# Proof of Solvency

## Introduction

Unlike the majority of stablecoins protocols, Rocky doesn't rely on multisigs or MCP vaults for its backing management but on onchain & permissionless smart contracts called [Rocketizer Module](/products/how-it-works/rocketizer-module). The [Rocketizer Module](/products/how-it-works/rocketizer-module) is handling mint, burn & redeem operations within approved parameters, you can learn more about it [here](/products/how-it-works/rocketizer-module). Users, keepers and anyone can freely interact with the backing of Rocky Stablecoins without any cooldown.

Protocol contributors do not have access to Rocky stablecoins backing. Moreover the backing is held entirely onchain.
